OK, was it just me that missed the fact that just before Christmas Beyonce’s parents, Matthew and Tina Knowles definately began court proceedings to get their divorce in motion! Tina filed divorce papers against her husband of 29 years under the name Celestine, papers that became public just before the holidays….. Unfortunately it seems that money really can’t solve everything…..

Many seem to be pointing the finger at Alexsandra Wright, who filed a paternity suit against Matthew Knowles in October 2009, CLAIMING that she was 6 months pregnant with his child. This 30 year old woman was a business associate of Knowles’, they worked in the same marketing and promotions industry, so the rumours that she is carrying his baby could well be true……

However Tina Knowles had reportedly moved out ….and more or less up and left Matthew Knowles WAAAAAAAY BACK in January 2009 so maybe Alexsandra wasn’t the straw that broke the camels back!

Ok people it’s a new year and I am definately ON it like SONIC in #2010! So I just came back from my vacation in London and so I’m back into my London TV programmes…… anyhu I’m not sure if they have it in the US but over there we have a show callled Celebrity Big Brother….. basically where old faded out celebs go to try and re-build some fame….. and guess whos on this year….

Yes, mi amours….NONE OTHER than SISQO…… now I’m not sure where the hell he’s been for the last few years but he’s finally re-surfaced… to do (pause) Big Brother….? (Raises eyebrows) I suppose the recession really has affected all of us….. Anyhu I have to admit I’m a tad (little) confused as to why Sisqo would do UK Big Brother but I’m it will all become clear sooner or later…. when his new album drops or such like….

When asked for words of wisdom Sisqo said ”Artists are afraid to say who their influences are because they fear they’ll be put in the shadow of that artist. Not me. When I get an idea from somebody, I straightaway say, ‘I took it from them’.” …. Not sure how that quite amounts to wisdom as opposed to just being an unoriginal TEEF …but I’ma allow Sisqo (let this one slide)  just because back in the day, when he was in Dru Hill, I did used to love that lil man!

So Lil Wayne had apparently gotten Lauren London AND Nivea pregnant at the same time…. but now Toya…. the mother of Lil Wayne’s oldest daughter (who she had at 14??!) is stating that Wayne is “WAITING on a paternity test to confirm he’s the Daddy of Lauren London’s baby”…..

First of all I have no idea why soooo many rumors about the baby being his would be out there…. if it wasn’t his! To be honest I’m guessing ….either this Toya girl is HATING and chatting ish just because she has her new show, (”Tiny & Toya,” I refuse to put a link to it… it’s awful!) …. and wants more publicity……

Ok Ok Ok, we GET IT…. Short hair is IN. But that is NO EXCUSE to chop all your beautiful hair off (weave or natural) just to end up looking like a hot MESS!

I saw Ciara’s hair cut the other day… and didn’t want to comment as I felt it may be bitchie and I’m not trying to be a hater…. but this morning…. when I saw Solange’s new do SOMETHING SNAPPED!! I’m just like WTF?! Why would you do that?!…… *smh* it’s just HORRIBLE ladies…. please sort it out!

WHY??? Solange is so pretty, she could probably pull it off  but …. you NEED a SHAPE UP GIRL! I’m sorry but it looks like a  DIY (Do It Yourself) job….  But if you think that’s bad look at this ….

CONEHEAD!! Yes, she’s goregous, but she has a really OVAL shaped head… and the hair cut is only highlighting that fact. I see loads of people like … oooo…aaaa…. Ciara’s new do! But NO! Be Serious people! …. If you ask me her stylist needs a slap!

 OK I’m done ranting…. Which one is worse?? or am I over-reacting?

Finally someone has spoken out about this HORRIBLE trend that is vasting limiting the number of Black actors and actresses that we are exposed to…..limiting them to SINGERS and RAPPERS, that is!

Nia Long decided to speak up and say exactly what I’ve been thinking since this ridiculous phase had begun…check out what Nia had to say about singer’s like Beyoncé getting LEAD roles in movies:

Like Nia, I didn’t go to see ‘Obsessed’…. and I’m not going to go see it any time soon…….because I just don’t like the idea of watching a singer act!

Ludacris is one of the few rappers that I would actually rate (give props to) for his acting skills…..he was good in ‘Crash‘….but these music artists need to understand that just because you feel like diversifying….DOES NOT MEAN you have ANY SKILLS in that area!

I hear Rihanna is going to be in the next “Charlie’s Angels” and Beyoncé is going to be starring in “Obsessed 2″…… for the sake of the ART of ACTING….STOP!! All of you….for the sake of all the Black kids out there that have been to theatre school and would love the shot at a role in a movie….MOVE THE HELL OVER and give someone else an opportunity to showcase their talent!

Idris Elba, the 33 year old, 6′3″, piece of chocolate heaven…… is on the cover of August’s edition of Essence Magazine, looking absolutely delicious……. so I had to cop a read mainly because I couldn’t resist the fine ass photographs of this talented, up and coming, English actor.

If you are unfamiliar with the name, Idris Elba starred in HBO’s series The Wire, as Stringer Bell, a no-nonsense drug dealer, (err I hate writing those words) but anyways….Idris’s skills as an actor were obviously picked up as he went on to take on major roles in movies including ‘The Gospel’ (2005), ‘Daddy’s Little Girl’ (2007) with Gabrielle Union and ‘RockNRolla’(2007) an English Gangsta movie, directed by Guy Ritchie.

Elba even had a role alongside Denzel Washington in American Gangster and his most recent, and probably biggest, role to date was in ‘Obsessed’ in which he co-starred with Beyoncé Knowles.

Now you know who he is….what’s he about? Check out some of what he had to say about women, dating and relationships in Essence magazine’s ‘2009 Bachelor Issue’:

Ok, so remember Will. I. Am and Perez Hilton TOTALLY got into it last week and PEREZ called him a Fa**ot…..well he told The Advocate that he was going to use the N word instead!.….Check this shit out:

Ok I’m about to go to town on this fool!….. First of all what he’s saying is that he had NO PROBLEM using the N word….he just thought the F word was worse! Thirdly…..I don’t understand how this guy can refer to himself as having wisdom….he’s the dumbest FUCKER EVER……he’s at the pinnacle of his career and he just offended the a 3rd of the world! ASS… he better use the P (U.S. Translation = money) he got from that article and invest in some security guards!

Finally I would just like to say that I do NOT understand how this guy could even use the word fa**ot to offend anyone else…….I WAS POSITIVE HE WAS GAY?! Or was that just me? (btw The Advocate main article was about Gay marriage….which has also lead to some interesting racial discussions, like Is Gay the New Black?)

As Miss. Bitchie said this article isn’t at all surprising……but what is WORSE is that Black Celebrities like Gabrielle Union DEFEND THAT DAMN FOOL!

So after Soulja Boy had his little Breakdown the other day, because the money and the fame is NOT all that it’s cracked up to be he issued a statement addressing his meltdown:

“A lot of people talking about what I twittered the other night…so I want to address it, now that I have had some time to do some thinking.  At 18 years, having grown up in the Mississippi Delta, I never thought my life would take me to where I am now.  All I wanted to do was make music.  All I thought I loved was music.  I would die for that motherfuckin music.  But, once I got a record deal and all these people around me trying to tell me who to be, what to do and how to do it, I realized that I wasn’t making music any more for the love.  I got into this weird place where I began making music for the money.  And I was making a lot of money…more money than I could ever imagine.  And with that money, of course, I could buy a lot of things…but to be honest, you can only drive that brand new phantom around the corner oh so many times… and when you are done driving, it really don’t mean sh*t.  I thought money was gonna bring me happiness.  And that is the farthest thing from the truth.  Money f*cks you up.

I know I might sound crazy, because a lot of you who are reading are probably like, I wish I had this ni**a’s money.  But, the truth is that money got me twisted.  All I want to do is go back to making music for the love of it.  The accolades and the awards are for everyone else.  The music is for me.  The music is my happiness.  So, of course I am struggling in my mind right now…cause I wanna get back to place where I woke up, thinking about what I was gonna write that day.  Where I went to sleep ready to dream about what I was gonna write the next day.

I’m glad he put a statement out there, but to be honest I don’t think anyone was THAT offended….everyone has a bad dae…..but unfortuanely when we meltdown it isn’t posted all over the internet and news! You see people……being a celebrity is REALLY not all it’s cracked upt o be….you have to have thick skin and some SERIOUS patience to deal with some of the ish that will get thrown at you boi!
