So this morning when I saw the news that Ne-yo had broken down into tears at a concert in Manchester, U.K. I decided not to write anything about it….. because I felt that it would have been mean to just take the piss out of him (mock him) when I had no idea why he was crying! (Can I be a blogger with integrity?! or is that an oxymoron?…. anyway…)

And now readhis explanation of why he was overcome by emotion:

” Basically, I have an issue with not knowing when to say enough is enough, so last night in Manchester, my body said it for me. I got on stage energized and ready to go, even tho for the last 5 days I’ve been dealing with a sinus infection. I paid it no real mind, and kept on going, like I always do. My voice couldn’t take it. From the first song I knew something was wrong. I shoulda stopped there, but I come from a school where no matter what, the show must go on. It wasn’t until about 4 songs in that I came to the painful realization that my voice was done, literally nothing left, and that I would have to stop the show.

Now let me explain something to you:
When I say this music, that stage, my fans, THIS is my life, I’m not saying it cause it sounds good in a sound bite. THIS IS MY LIFE!! Not much else matters to me, honestly. My music, my family and the people that appreciate my music…..the fans. THAT’S ABOUT IT!! I’ve never had to stop a show, never dreamed I’d ever have to. So when I had to walk out on that stage and tell 12,000 of the people responsible for making me who I am that I could not perform for them, it literally broke my heart. I cried harder than I have in a very long time with no shame whatsoever.

To anyone out there that would like to question my manhood because of this I’ll say this to you:
If the one thing you cared about more than anything else in the world was threatened or even taken from you, if you knew that the people you cared for the most you had to disappoint and it was your fault… and this didn’t spark some kind of emotional outbreak within you…then with no shame I’ll say you are truly a stronger man than I.

A few weeks ago I told you guys that Jill Scott and her baby daddy, Lil John had broken up just a few days after she had give birth to their son. Well…..it looks like Miss. Scott is handling it extremely well….hell my girl is DATING AGAIN….ALREADY!

According to an MTO source Jill and her co-star from “Why did I get married,” Lamman Rucker have started dating! (BTW if you haven’t seen the film you really should…just so you understand the 80/20 rule….which is basically that if your with someone that’s 80% of what you need ….why would you leave them for someone that ONLY has that 20% you  THINK you want?!…..do a Friday movie night in and watch it!) 

Anyhu Lamman is 6 ft 4 actor, who is build like a brick house….. man is solid as a rock….at the moment he stars in Tyler Perry’s comedy “Meet The Browns,” he has also made guest appearances on shows like “Half and Half” and “All of Us.”

Some people may say that Jill is too fast …a.k.a. she just had a child, so why is she dating so soon?! But in my opinion there is no rule book which says you have to wait a certain length time after child-birth…. BEFORE you can date!

Child birth is stressful …… break-ups are stressful….I think homegirl deserves some time to herself where she can relax and remember the joys of life…..get a kiss and a cuddle that is not going to leave you smelling like buby puke (vomit) ……..so hell…..go ahead and date!…..It’s good for you! 

I do however want to make it CLEAR that dating a man for 5 minutes then INTRODUCING HIM INTO YOUR CHILD’S LIFE……. is NOT COOL! I’m all for mothers who date….. but you have to be careful about who you bring into your child’s life because if they are not going to be there for good….. you can do more damage than you will ever realise!
