In a recent interview withTyrese Gibson Essence.com spoke to him about his new movie “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” that took over $55 million a the box office in it’s FIRST day showing in the U.S. (Wednesday) and just to make it more interesting they also spoke about his EX-WIFE, Norma.

The two were only married for 10 months and a short while ago it seemed the separation could have gotten very messy…especially because she was trying to take him for everything he had! In the end the judge ordered him to give her $6,230 a month  for support as well as pay her rent and cough up for her car…..NOT BAD for 10 months of marriage and one baby ahey! =D

Anyhu despite that Tyrese told Essence.com that they still have an “amicable” relationship..which is pretty big of him! So he’s sexy as hell and has a way with forgiveness…….*sigh* I need some of THAT in ma life man…..But on another note he did admit that he was to blame for some of their problems so maybe all really is fair in LOVE and WAR! ESSENCE.COM: And just to switch gears a bit, you went through a rollercoaster ride of your own as a recent divorcee. What has been the most difficult love lesson you’ve had to learn?
TYRESE: My ex-wife and I were together for six or seven years before we married. I learned that sometimes marriage doesn’t work. When you get married you vow to share your life experiences with someone else. If you happen to be as busy as I am, your mind and spirit is all you have and if anything is taking away from that on any level then it might be time to re-evaluate that situation. At the end of the day, you have to love and value yourself and your happiness to walk away sometimes, even if you love that person.

ESSENCE.COM: Have you two remained amicable?

I don’t have anything negative to say about my daughter’s mom. She’s an amazing mother and I wouldn’t have married her if I didn’t think so. I know that I contributed to some of the conflicts that we had. I wish nothing but the best for her and I am focused on being a responsible father to our beautiful daughter.

However the rumours that he is now seeing his ex-girlfriend , Erica Jackson, re-surfaced this week after specualtion that the two were re-kindling their flame back in April. Sources say that “She was there long before Rihanna and has stuck with him through his entire case as a friend.” Owch! Anyhu …….Chris is also rumoured to be messing with Natalie Mejia, from that show “Pussycat Dolls presents: Girlicious.” Even though his reps have put out a statement to the effect that Chris is NOT in ANY relationship at the moment….it looks like he has more than his fair share of options, despite his track record and criminal status!  Not bad for some ahey!
