Just under an hour ago (at about 4.40pm, NYtime) the judge made the ruling on the Chris Brown and Rihanna assault case.

CHRIS is now a CONVICTED FELON!!

Brown managed to get a plea deal….and therefore will NOT be doing any jail time. But His sentence is 180 days (6 months) of HARD LABOUR in Virginia(his home town). This will include cleaning up roads or graffiti.

Brown pleaded GUILTY to ASSAULT,which is a FELONY OFFENSE (offence)(in other words a very serious crime). He will therefore be on probation for 5 YEARS and have to go back to court EVERY 3 MONTHS! His probation is SUPERVISED!! If he breaches his probation he could face up to 4 years in jail/prison!

Chris has also been ordered to completely STAY AWAY from Miss. Fenty a.k.a Rihanna and will have to enroll in a domestic violence counseling program (programme).

The judge stated that he wanted to ensure that Brown “was treated as any other person who comes through this court.”

TMZ also reported that Rihanna was in the COURTHOUSE but NOT present in the courtroom!

I think I’m happy with this outcome….He is being punished but it’s not going to ruin his career prospects!

Chris Brown had JUST left the court room with his entourage and Rihanna was called in…..

Rihanna’s lawyers stated that she DID NOT want to order for Chris to STAY AWAY from her to be ENFORCED!!

Rihanna had 1st heard of the plea deal this afternoon and had previously been PREPARED to testify according to LA time Reporter Harriet Ryan.

“Rihanna believes this is a fair n just resolution of this case. She’d like 2 thank frm the bottom of her heart, the DA n LAPD..”

Chris Brown’s Attorney:

“I want to make clear that Chris entered a guilty plea and not a no-contest plea. From the very beginning, he’s always wanted to take responsibility. For a first offender, a kid who’s never been in trouble before…Chris wants to make sure the message gets out that domestic violence is not acceptable. He wants to move past this, get his life back on track and his career back on track. He wants to speak more but I’ve restricted him. He’ll have a statement at his sentencing on Aug 5th.”

So yesterday the Black Eyed Peas performed at the Much Music Awards in Toronto, Canada (Drake’s hometown).  Perez Hilton (the celebrity blogger) was also present at the award show and apparently got into it with Fergie (from the Black Eyed Peas).

Perez claims that after that the argument escalated and resulted in him being ASSAULTED by Will.I.Am and his bodyguards. He actually went so far as to call the police of help and wrote on his twitter:

“I was assaulted by Will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas and his security guards. I am bleeding. Please, I need to file a police report. No joke.”

Will.I.Am responded…again via twitter, of course ( how else would they communicate!):

“I was the one that came to him with respect, and he was the one who called me a faggot outside the club.” *Raises eyebrow* Who’s a faggot??

Cutting to the chase…..the only reason I’m even writing about this is because of the VIDEO that Perez put on his blog…..it is absolutely hilarious!! (and I felt the need to SHARE IT) The whole time he has been acting like Will.I.Am beat the sh*t outta him and in the video it looks like he has a tiny ass bruise under his right eye…….and who knows it could just be bags…from excessive partying…….He is SUCH a DRAMA QUEEN!!

When I first saw the artists on this track I was EXTREMELY EXCITED! Jamie, The Dream, Kanye AND Drake?! I couldn’t wait to hear it….but to be honest I’m a little disappointed…..

No disrespect but it’s a little boring to me….a bit repetitive and I don’t really feel like it all flows as well as it should……they are all at their peak and it could have been so much more!! PLUS……the end of the track TOTALLY MISSED the goal…..where was the crazy creative bridge I was expecting??? Or maybe my expectations were too high?!

Overall it’s just OK….

O well …let me know if you disagree??

So as everyone knows Christina Milian and The Dream have been a couple for a while. At first most thought it was a publicity stunt, seen as Milian’s career was sinking at an alarming rate (after being dropped by Def Jam back in 2006)….but the two admitted to Sister 2 Sister magazine at a Keyshia Cole concert, on May 28 2009, that they are planning to tie the knot! So, I suppose it’s not just for show…..

Milliblonde’s ring is apparently a whopping 5 carats…HOLA!….. and they will be holding their engagement party in the Bahamas! Nehu, all I’ma say is when these 2 get married let’s hope it lasts……

The Dream did however feel the need to clear some ish up this week regarding his fianceés career:

“She has a lot of stuff going on in the movie world and actually on TV. Somebody just gave her a lot of bread, and you don’t make enough money in the radio and R&B world, you know when it gets to that particular point. Somebody show up in her house with 10 million [dollars], and then you got a blog full of haters that’s trying to make sure that your sh*t don’t come out, it’s like what you gon’ do? Let me see, Paramount Pictures wants to give me 10 million, or I got to try to beat my head in the ground to prove something to the n*ggas that are going to give me five dollars. You gon’ take that $10 million and ride out. ‘Cause I need a new Phantom, so I want her to take that 10 million.”

Oh well…..good for her…..It’s sweet he’s got her back like that though….What do you think is it forever? Or are we gona see a Kelis and Nas re-play in a few years time???

So I was having a butchers (U.S.translation = look) around the world-wide-web yesterday and came across some pretty interesting Playboy Interviews with Lil Wayne and Ray-J…….ALL ABOUT SEX!!!

As you know I’m very passionate about this subject…and I felt it only right that I inform mi amours. Here’s just some of what they had to say:

Lil Wayne on whether he is good in bed:

WAYNE: I would say what makes me good in bed is that I am not aiming to be good. I am not expecting the chick to be like, “Oh, he was good.” I aim to please and if you do that every single time, I think you’re overall good, period. You don’t have to try and ram it or let me beat it up.

Ray J on losing his virginity:

RAY J: I had a weird first time incident when I was young. But the real first time [having sex] was at 13 and it was with a girl I liked and I did it at my homeboy’s house in the daytime. So this week Russell Simmons was parading his new girlfriend, Noémie Lenoir. He’s been spotted with her at several red carpet events in the last few weeks and it’s safe to say they’re doing a ting! (U.S. translation, in this case=dating)

Noémie  is indeed a model, but contrary to what a number of bloggers have reported she is NOT A BRITISH MODEL…. she is actually a FRENCH MODEL AND ACTRESS, that has made her markin a number of BRITISH commercials and magazines, like her Marks & Spencer’s ad’s (English equivalent of a Macy’s/Walmart combo). Just wanted to clear that up!

Anyhu…… I can’t help but notice that Uncle Russ sure does have A THING FOR MODELS! First it was his ex-wife Kimora Lee Simmons, then we had Porschla Coleman and now Noémie! Not to mention the string of shorter term relationships in-between…..His little black book must look like the Ford Models Directory!

Clearly, some of these young bucks need to take some notes…..this guy DEF HAS SOME GAMAGE!! (Amour translation = Game)

JSUK (Just So U Know) she has worked for everyone from Victoria’s Secret to Gap and NEXT (U.K. retailer) and even had role alongside Chris Tucker in Rush Hour 3, in 2007 and obv she’s pretty HOT!

Cute couple or just another fling?? You tell me…..

Mr. Brezzy will be attending court on Monday to face the charges against him, in relation to assaulting Rihanna.

Brown has made several attempts to DELAY court proceedings, including making an APPEAL to the Los Angeles Supreme Court. Unfortunately for him his appeal was DENIED YESTERDAY!

The preliminary hearing against Brown is scheduled for Monday 22nd June and will decide whether THERE IS ENOUGH EVIDENCE AGAINST BROWN for the case to be taken to trial. Stay tuned mi amours…….we are about to find out if Rihanna will have to TAKE THE STAND and testify against him.

Since the incident occurred, Brown’s attorney, Mark Geragos, has been trying to find out who leaked the photo of Rihanna beaten and bruised, that made its way around the internet at the SPEED OF LIGHT, back in February. However, it appears that the party responsible has managed to evade authorities. (It was sooo an insider….that they will probably NEVER findout about….but we’ll see if they manage to find a scapegoat to take the wrap!)

“Geragos (Brown’s attorney) appealed to California’s highest court after a lower court judge, Judge Patricia Schnegg, denied his motion to access the confidential personnel records of 25 Los Angeles Police Department employees.Gergaoswas seeking the records prior to the preliminary hearing, hoping to find out who leaked a shocking photo of a badly-bruised Rihanna taken after she was assaulted, allegedly by Brown.”

So, on Monday I mentioned that Drake had shot a video for his track “Best I Ever Had,” which took place in a high school basketball gym in Brooklyn, NY (on Sunday evening).

MTV reporter, Jayson Rodriguez was on the set and spoke to Drizzy about the video and Kayne West…..

You can expect the video to have a “Basketball Diaries” kind of feel according to the young Canadian artist. When explaining the concept behind the video he said he wanted to capture the fact that “Some of us younger men, we refer to our affiliation with women like a roster,”……”You have key women in your life (even) when you’re single and doing your thing.”

As soon as the video comes out you’ll be able to find it on ByCherieAmour.com! But who’s going to be appearing in the new vid?…… According to MTV we’re going to see Trey Songz, Fabolous and some of the Young Money family, including (ma fav) Nicki Minaj, Jae Millz, Lil Chuckee and Lil Twist……should be a good one!!

Right now Drizzy seems to be enjoying the fact that even though he is NOT SIGNED he is enjoying his journey to success…..”"I’m just taking my time. It’s less political and better to do things like today — having a video directed by a man of Kanye’s stature and still be unsigned — it just sounds better!”

BTW….Rihanna was in New York on the day of the shoot but was NOT PRESENT at the set…..maybe their NOT DATING after all….(Ladies you still have a shot!!) ;o)

So…. soon after Nas and Kelis filed for divorce the fireworks started! As I reported before Kelis is pregnant with Nas unborn child. However, she claims that she is BROKE, saying “I have run out of money.” Thus, she decided to go to court and ask the judge to ORDER NAS TO PAY for everything…… from “spousal support” to “$20,000 for strollers, cribs and other baby supplies.” – TMZ.com

Kelis is due to drop the lil sprog (baby) any minute now and says that she is fully dependant on Nas at the moment, “”My survival is based on [Nas'] will at this time. If he does not want to pay for an expense, it does not get paid.”

I have several issues with this whole thing….Firstly I do NOT understand HOW on earth Kelis could possibly have spent all of her money?? She’s been IN the GAME  (and has been internationally successful) for about 10 years, if you remember, she dropped her album “Kaleidoscope” in 1999, which was produced by the Neptunes! Mi amours the lesson here is TO SAVE YOUR MONEY for a rainy day…

Secondly, I feel like she needs to uphold some of her dignity in this situation…it seems like she’s almost begging him for money….What happened to the strong INDEPENDANT WOMAN she used to be back when she came out with that ‘I hate you so much right now’ track?? When I heard that record, I never thought I would see the day that KELIS would let herself become beholden to a man!

Frankly, I am very disappointed! Ladies….this is definitely one of the reasons that I say you need to really THINK before you allow yourself to get pregnant. It seems like Kelis is in a position, that many women find themselves in…..pregnant, with no money and a future full of uncertainty and potential instability….and if you didn’t know…. this leads to a STATE OF PANIC and a level of stress that probably explains her desperate pleas for Nas’ money.

So that’s that but……Let’s take a second and talk about Nas’ role in all of this….
