I gotta tell you I really have missed Joe. This is the first track to be released from his new album “Signature” that will be hitting stores on July 14th!

I definitely like the track…only have to listen to it once to like it…..to be honest it’s not particularly “different” …..it’s just Joe…but you know what they say…. “if it ain’t broke…don’t try to fix it”.

It works for me and he has NEVER let me down before so I’ma get the album just because Joe still has that old school sound that today’s R’n'B guys like Chris Brown, Ne-yo even Usher…just CAN NOT touch.

I just think the cresendo left a little to be desired for the FIRST TRACK from a new album. But I love THE VIDEO, by the way…… if your wondreing who the Halle Berry look-alike is….. her name’s Ajia Nicole, V.SEXY!

So as y’all know the BET awards occurred yesterevening in LA. Now Chris Breezy WAS supposed to perform and according to major sources…he had been rehearsing his TRIBUTE to Michael Jackson for 3 DAYS prior to the show……but if you noticed Breezy GOT SHUT DOWN!!! Can you see the TENSION in that pic amours???

Rumors (rumours) have it that Jay-Z is the REASON Brown got shut down last night! Apparently he threatened to pull out of the show altogether if Chris Brown was going to perform AND GET WIFEY (Beyonce) NOT TO PERFORM EITHER! The worst part about it is that sources say that the JACKSON FAMILY WANTED CHRIS to perform….but it seems HOV got the last word on this one!

Ma gurl over at STR8 outta NYC Chris Brown’s back-up dancer Brandon Shaw definitely corroborated the rumors that it was Jay when he twittered:

“So Jay-Z tells BET that if Chris performs he will not perform. Ummmm….Wait for it….WHO CARES!!!!”

Twitter is definitely gona get some negroes in sum ish!!!…..Anyhu….

Personally I think it is WACK that Chris Brown didn’t get to perform…..since he first came out he’s been repping MJ and it’s disgraceful that someone who clearly idolized MJ was prevented from paying his respects…….I mean I love Jay as much as the next bish but COME ON DUDE!!!

Jay-Z threatened Chris before talking about “he’s a dead man walking” but REALLY was it necessary to spite him like that?…all because of Rihanna…..why cause the DRAMA on a day where everyone is supposed to be remembering Michael Jackson….PLUS if MJ’s family wanted him to perform….I would like to think that their wishes take priority.

So this weekend was ridiculous…..hence the lack of posts, but apologies mi amours. But to be honest all the news has been about Michael Jackson passing away as well as Farrah Fawcett’s departure (which I have to mention and say R.I.P as I feel that her death has somewhat been overshadowed by Michael’s, which is horrible but true……R.I.P. Farrah Fawcett and I wish all the best to her family).

The BET awards that took place last night in LA, were altered to be a tribute to MJ’s life, musical genius and numerous successes. I think the world

is still in shock and so am I……I even heard one person say he’s not really dead….but I think it’s safe to say she was just in denial, which is understandable. At the moment the Jackson family are planning his funeral.….my heart goes out to them and I just hope that people give them time to mourn(morn) their loss.

I came across these pics of Michael this morning on Miss. Bitchie’s site, some of which you have probably never seen before and wanted to share because they show MJ before all the “changes” and ….truthfully they just make me smile and bring back a lot of fond memories. Enjoy….

Oh one more thing I just need you guys to KNOW:

Jordan Chandler, who accused Michael of doing all sorts to him… admitted shortly after Michael’s death that HE LIED and Michael Jackson NEVER TOUCHED HIM…… he admits he fabricated the whole story because of his father, who wanted to money!

Michael sis absolutely NOTHING to that lil rat and he still allowed Michael’s name to be dragged through the mud for all these years!! It makes me soooo angry that a person could do that (I don’t give a shit how poor you are!) to try and break someone down like that and then just admit it after he died…like he’s doing something noble…..too little,too late is what I say…..and karma is a bitch mate, so watch out! R.I.P Michael Jackson ……

the world is in mourning…. I have no idea how they did this soo quick but I’m glad they did:

Let’s remember him for his musical legacy…… R.I.P Michael!

Hahahahaha!!! I think that a million’s men’s fantasies were just destroyed instantaneously! Yes people “Angel Lola Luv”….(who is currently re-created herself as “Lola Monroe” ….the rapper) is a lesbian….according to Miss. Sandra Rose. (Sidenote…I’m really happy I got to do an alliterated title!!lol)

If you have no idea who this chick is just watch MTV for like half an hour an I’m sure she’ll pop up….she is one of the MOST famous…and gorgeous video girls in the biz ….and my gurl is 100% from the homeland…..Ethiopia to be more precise….I love it, go beautiful black women!!!

Anyhu, apparently Lola is totally NOT into men and is actually in a relationship with a girl called Logan, who she has known since grade school, which for all the London folk is primary school.

So….I wanted to do this post a little later when I had gained some more statistical info but it just keeps poppin up so let’s get some discussion going about this new LESBIAN TREND in the Black female community!

I don’t know if you’ve noticed but MORE and MORE black women in influential positions and in the SPOTLIGHT are coming out as LESBIANS or Bi-sexuals everyday. We have Amber Rose, Nicki Minaj (who is apparently Bi) and now Lola Luv!!! But here’s the weirdest thing….I TOTALLY GET IT……

I think when I was like 16 or so the thought that lesbians were gross and bi-sexuals were just confused (I hope that offends no-one….clearly i’ve moved on from that)…. quite honestly, I just really didn’t get it….But then again most teens at that age don’t. However I’m really not sure what it is but the female body absolutely fasinates me right now. I’ve always had a thing about girls asses…….and soon that developed into boobs and now I’m just like fuck it….give me a female body over a male one ANY day of the week…..it’s just  way sexier!!

Now I don’t know what it is but for some reason this whole bi-/lesbian thing is becoming more and more attractive to me…..even though I’m pretty sure I’m straight…and would describe myself as such…. seen as I’ve never experienced any of that gurl-on-gurl action I’m always hearing about! In a recent interview withTyrese Gibson Essence.com spoke to him about his new movie “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” that took over $55 million a the box office in it’s FIRST day showing in the U.S. (Wednesday) and just to make it more interesting they also spoke about his EX-WIFE, Norma.

The two were only married for 10 months and a short while ago it seemed the separation could have gotten very messy…especially because she was trying to take him for everything he had! In the end the judge ordered him to give her $6,230 a month  for support as well as pay her rent and cough up for her car…..NOT BAD for 10 months of marriage and one baby ahey! =D

Anyhu despite that Tyrese told Essence.com that they still have an “amicable” relationship..which is pretty big of him! So he’s sexy as hell and has a way with forgiveness…….*sigh* I need some of THAT in ma life man…..But on another note he did admit that he was to blame for some of their problems so maybe all really is fair in LOVE and WAR! TYRESE: My ex-wife and I were together for six or seven years before we married. I learned that sometimes marriage doesn’t work. When you get married you vow to share your life experiences with someone else. If you happen to be as busy as I am, your mind and spirit is all you have and if anything is taking away from that on any level then it might be time to re-evaluate that situation. At the end of the day, you have to love and value yourself and your happiness to walk away sometimes, even if you love that person.

I’m am absolutely devastated to report that Michael Jackson passed away today at the age of 50. He collapsed at his home in Los Angeles after suffering a cardiac arrest and was later pronounced dead at UCLA Medical Center.

Michael Jackson was due to begin touring in London in July 2009. 75,000 tickets sold out in 4 hours for his original 10 shows.

The exact cause of his death is not yet known. But it is reported that after the autopsy the cause of death should be certain. Michael Jackson was known to have anorexia, and some are saying that this could have been one of the causes of this extremely unexpected death.

Many are mourning his death and I wish all the best to his family. Hopefully people will remember him for his unsurpassed contribution to music rather than all of the scandal that plagued his career.

R.I.P.  He will be missed terribly and eternally remembered as a international music icon!

As a young woman in today’s society I feel like there is a thin line between being sexually liberated and being promiscuous….A line that is often hard to identify and is defined in different terms depending on your cultural background, life experience and age….obviously religion also plays a role…and let’s not forget about society’s good old stereotypes….

So….. seen as there are soo many factors that make the difference between a woman or man that is SEXUALLY LIBERATED…and a woman (or man, though this kind of labelling is much less frequent) that is promiscuous what is the best view given today’s climate and norms (normal behaviour).

Personally, I feel like men and women are equal… and I reject all double standardsthat would have applied… say 20 years ago. In my opinion, a lot of people, especially men, have NOT adapted their mind set. I still hear some guys calling girls hoe’s because they had a one night stand….seriously GET OVER IT….it’s her perogative…if she wanted some good good & was responsible, what’s the problem….WOMEN have needs and SEXUAL DESIRES TOO you know!

Why is it that guys can sleep with whoever they want, whenever they want….SCREAM IT from the rooftops and no one bats an eyelid….whereas if girl decides that she wants to have fun with a few guys at a time, you know sample all the flavours….. chocolate on Monday, caramel on Thursday and some strawberry for the weekend,….she is STILL considered a hoe! Why are women being negatively labelled for demanding and excercising their equality in environments other than the workplace?!

Further more, I don’t understand why guys still ask that question when you first start seeing someone: “How many people have you slept with?” Because 9 times out of 10 you actually don’t want to know the real answer! Mainly because most guys still think that women should have VERY few sexual partners………..I’m not sure where the cut off point is exactly…but I’m sure that if a 21 year old girl says more than 10…… a guy’s opinion of her will totally change….EVEN THOUGH most guys that age have slept with DOUBLE if not triple that number of girls! You see it’s this double standard, “do as I say, not as I do,” male egoism that rides my last nerve!

In my opinion, there’s a movement going on rite now…..young women are fed up of being stuck in relationships that do not benefit them…..(why should we commit when men aren’t doing the same?!) they realise that the whole idea of women becoming emotionally attached to men when they ave sex….is TOTAL BULLS**T and ladies are starting to conduct themselves just like men do. You see we have begun to realize that all those restraints they put on us are unnecessary and are SIMPLY A WAY TO CONTROL WOMEN! (Yea, maybe I sound like a radical right now but take it in and think about it!) Look at our new generation of women, like Nicki Minaj and Jada Pinkett-smith, who talk about sex openly and are not afraid to express their sexuality…….

To me it makes sense…why should I be limited in expressing myself sexually?…..while guys fuck around and have all the fun they like! Errr Nah! If I’m single and I used protection…what the F is the problem?…NO I’m not a hoe or a slut or whatever, I’m just sexually liberated! Do you know why guys don’t want women to have this opinion?….because then, most of them are going to have to SERIOUSLY step up their game….cos REALLY …too many of you are JUST NOT MAKING THE CUT!! You talk that maaaad talk and yea…u got the swag but that is where it ends!…..You know how many of ma girls have told me HOW DISAPPOINTING and UNDERWHELMING sex with some guys is!…countless…..(can I get a witness?!!) And you wonder why our numbers(of sexual partners) keeps going up?! Oh perlease……

Anyways…that’s what one side of my brain is constantly saying…but the other side still sets some BOUNDARIES ….Whilst I hate the word Hoe or Slut….(when used just to be spiteful or because she got over you and found some better d*ck)  I still think that a woman can be promiscuous, instead of sexually liberated!….

This week Jennifer Hudsonwas spotted in Florida with her mayn! Jennifer is now 8 months pregnant with her Harvard law graduate David Otunga, who is now pursing a pro-wrestling career.

Hudson recently through a baby shower in Chicago. But even though Hudson has been trying to keep her pregnancy under wraps her friend, Felicia Fields, told the “Chicago Tribune”:

“It was a baby shower, a quiet gathering of friends and mostly family. They’re really trying to keep it kind of quiet. It was a nice time that we had.”

As ma gurl over at Straight Outta NYC said…if Jennifer wanted to keep it quiet why is her “friend” opening up her mouth to the paper? Oh well….I hope it all goes well for them and they get their “happily ever after.”

Talking about babies…Jill Scottrecently had her child, Jett, with her back up drummer, Lil John, who WAS her fiancé. Yes, I said WAS!! Even though the lil sprog (baby) has only just been born the two have decided to call their relationship a day as Jill admitted in her interview with Essence.com:

“…John and I are no longer together. When you have a baby you’re dealing with lot of emotion and I don’t know how much of it had to do with us breaking p, but it happens. We definitely love our son and we are co-parenting and working on being friends. It is what it is.”

It seems like she is satisfied with her decision to split up with her baby pappa…so good luck to them, hopefully it works out. I think there is however a valid lesson to be learnt here though….If you are with someone and have a child…there is NOTHING wrong with leaving the relationship if it is not working out. Sometimes it is better for a child to have two seperated parents that are happy and civil…rather than two parents who are together but clearly do not want to be! What do you think…true or false?
